New, the Monaco Knight 36PFT stickered right around $291,000. It was built as a genuine high-line diesel pusher, and this one still drives and lives like one — wrapped in full-body paint that makes it show far newer than its year, with just 45,127 miles on the clock. For a 2013 diesel coach, that's low, and it means this Knight has plenty of road left in it.
Underneath, it's built like the heavy equipment it is: a Roadmaster raised-rail chassis riding on eight airbags, with air ride, air brakes, and a smooth-shifting Allison 6-speed backed by 350 horsepower and 1,150 lb-ft of torque. It pulls a grade without drama and rides down the interstate like a coach that cost three times this price — because it did. There's a hitch out back to bring the daily driver along, too.
